• All boats come fully equipped with Canadian Coast Guard regulation gear. (Sea kayaks: PFD, whistle, paddle, throw bag, pump, skirt. Canoe: PFDs, paddles, throw bag, bailer.)
• Rental period: Half-day--Any 4-hour period | Daily rentals are based on the calendar day.  A two day minimum charge applies to overnight rentals. We will not reserve boats for a half day rental.  First come, first served or reserve for the full day.
• Early pick up: Boat pick up night prior to rental period at no extra charge. Subject to staff and boat availability.
• A valid credit card is required for all reservations.  A 20% non-refundable deposit is taken at time of booking. A pre-authorization of $500 will be taken on arrival and is required for all overnight rentals as a security deposit.
• Customers are responsible for any and all damages incurred beyond normal wear and tear.
• Cleaning charge: $10 cash boat cleaning charge due at pick up. Deposit returned upon boat return.
• Returns after 5 pm: $10 deposit is retained if the boat is returned after 5 pm or if it's dirty.
• We reserve the right to refuse rental is we feel that you are not prepared to use our equipment safely.  If in doubt, take a lesson.

Terms and Conditions

Deposit and Full Payment
20% Canadian NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee deposit.
Full payment of balance is due on day service is rendered.
All reservations made within 48 hours (two days): Full payment required at time of reservation.

Cancellations
Our cancellation policy is as flexible and understanding as possible. Please understand that other people may have been turned away because kayaks have been reserved.

More than 48 hours (two days) in advance: Full refund less 20% or $35 non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations within 48 hours (two days): Full payment is non-refundable.
Failure to appear: Full payment is charged.
There are no refunds for early returns.

Liability Waiver
The appropriate liability waiver must be signed. We will not provide service if a customer refuses to sign the form.

1.) Single rotomould sea kayaks include Boreal Designs Fjord (16'8"), Current Designs Squall (16'6"),  Necky Elaho (16'5"), Valley Aquanaut (16"8). All come equipped with bulkheads (2-3) and hatches (2-3).
2.) Single fibreglass and Kevlar sea kayaks include Seaward Quest (19'), Seaward Navigator (17'). All come equipped with bulkheads (2-3) and hatches (2-3).
3.) Tandem rotomould sea kayaks include Boreal Designs Esperanto (with centre hatch).
